I made it to Cappadocia, a famous destination in central Turkey, known for its distinctive “fairy chimneys,” tall, cone-shaped rock formations clustered in Valleys, which honestly just look like giant rock cocks sticking out of the ground, and for their hot air balloons, caves, horse riding, and more touristy things, but mainly for its landscape
I arrived in there, and found a campsite for a few days, not wanting to particularly wild camp. The weather was cold here, hot in the days at around 27 degrees, but down to -3 at the night. I had a tough slog getting here from the flat coastline and wanted a few luxuries for a few days. The campsite was great. No one there, a communal kitchen area and seating area, on top of the valley, with amazing views in the mornings and evenings. I was delighted with myself. The mornings were my favorite part of the day. Watching the baloons.
